When a new theatre was built in Shrewsbury, Shropshire – my home town, this was a major development for a Midlands market town – especially as the theatre looks out of the ordinary. To me it felt sterile and an uncreative space, I felt it needed adoption. So for several weeks I spent time there drawing and observing and came away having learned to love the new building and appreciating its curves and angles of which there are many. I hope you will visit and love it too.
