Coronavirus / Covid-19

My commitment is to my clients wellbeing and with this in mind, there will be no more face-to-face meetings for the time being. I am able to offer sessions at the same time and day as our normal session using Skype or Zoom. Zoom is an online secure platform which is similar to Skype and widely used by counsellors and medical professionals

With online work, we set a time and then I call you to join the meeting, you will need a laptop, tablet or phone with a camera. You will also need a private space so that we can talk freely without interruption.

I am committed to regular therapy with my clients, however if you are ill what is most important is that you rest and get well, we can talk in our sessions about how to manage this and plan a therapeutic break if required.

Counselling is confidential – with some exceptions – public health is one of these exceptions. If I contract COVID-19/Coronavirus I may have to inform the NHS of people I have been in contact with, I would share only your name and contact details – not the context in which we have met. If this were to happen, you will be informed and may be contacted by the NHS. Confidentiality will be broken if necessary, for reasons of public interest in the area of public health.
